The second Chinese (rather Cantonese) group/band that has influenced me, Beyond (from HK, disbanded in 2005).

Beyond was a rock band formed in Hong Kong in 1983. The band became prominent in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia. They were also very popular in mainland China. The band was, and still is, widely considered as the most successful and influential Cantonese band from Hong Kong. In 1993, the group's founder and key vocalist Wong Ka-kui (黃家駒) died due to an accident while filming a show in Japan. Beyond continued to perform and record after (黃家駒)Wong Ka-kui's death. I dun really listen to beyond but my cousin and her bf love them very much, always attending their concert. My aunt love them too. Guess different generation hahaha,not saying you old. =P

The third Chinese singer that I have listened much to is from Taiwan. She is a graduate from Taiwan National Chengchi University (Bachelor of Philosophy) & a popular yet low-profile Taiwanese singer-songwriter:
陳綺貞 (Chen Chi Chen/Cheer Chen). >> dearie inachi remarked she(Cheer Chen) looks younger than her age <<

For cheer chen, my favourite from her is 吉他手! I also like the duet with mayday 私奔到月球. 華麗的冒險 is also not bad...but I dun really listen to her other songs.

Hmm...if I remember correctly there is another cheer fan here. I think is chorkie.

It will be amazing if Angela has a duet with Sam lee. Will definitely blow me away with these 2 amazing voices.
