i google that 吴杰鸣 guy, apparently he was a symphony 92.4 dj, was a model and learned classical music from germany and russia. it seems the digital version of the song was in top 3 of itune in jan 2014. song ok, but he is not much of a singer really.

What do you think will be a better alternative to sms voting? I know 987 got rid of sms voting some years ago, and their chart movements are really slow nowadays.

Half of the songs on chart now should have been gone by week 52 last year.

Anyway, I was checking out 933's fb page and it seems like there's quite a no. of 五月天 fans who've been persistently voting for that song, which explains it's longevity.

933 LHB's gonna be hosted by Cruz Teng and Chen Ning from next friday onwards.

933 must have realised the decrease in number of listeners and also number of votes after Kunhua and Jiahui took over and decides to make this abrupt change.

On the brighter note, CRUZ IS BACK ON LHB AGAIN!

Abit puzzled why Chen Ning though.

although we have no idea the listener number for the chart, to get the director back on the chart is really like 救亡. but if nothing is done to solve the problem of songs bombing up and down the chart so ridiculously and weird songs lingering for weeks totally not reflective of the popularity, cruz can wait to see his head on the chopping board. in uk, when this type of nonsense happened in 1990s, the company that compiled the chart was sacked and a new company took over.

just to add, i think sms voting is really easy for rigging. the malaysian chart also use sms and we see songs flying up and down like madness. eg movement like 4-11-3-9 is pretty common.

but 933 seems to be very strict on the 1 vote per song policy leh. so i dun think results can be rigged that easily unless a certain fanclub have alot of influence on the public imo.

^in singapore, many of us have more than 1 phone, old and new, etc. so not that dificult to rig.
