I really wonder how han geng's song can make it up to number 2? he easily has the worst vocals among the entrees and the song is probably the most unmemorable one.. Same for FLH. Thought their popularity died down a lot but this is their fastest rising song -_- Their second hit is not decent as well.

actually, i also dun understand why a lot of people like Korean songs. but Han Geng must have really built up quite a fan base with that, hence...

No, that is not FLH fastest rising. They went 17-7 with Xin Wo in 2008.

I feel that the first zhu da from Jeff album is not that consistent to the audience...

Initially was dang shi, newspapers highlighted the duet, 933 promoted zhui chu..Jeff promoted zhi pang in his recent Happiness concert.

This album really got a lot of nice songs...

Things LeeHom Doesn’t Know

... by leaping 4-1, ‘Ni Bu Zhi Dao De Shi’ has become his 18th No.1.
... and tying Jeff Chang as the No.3 male artiste with most No.1s. Only Jay Zhou (25) and Andy Lau (24) has more.
... and this is the 16th song about knowing or not knowing, but only the 2nd in the negative, after ‘Wo Bu Zhi Dao’ by Dong Li Huo Che which got to No.13 in 1998.

Fans Migration

This week’s biggest chart news is probably Hebe Tian Fuzhen’s shocking performance. While ‘Ji Mo Ji Mo Jiu Hao’ storms up 17-8, ‘Love!’ collapsed 2-10. Such migration is both good and bad for her. While it shows a strong fan based support, it also indicated very few of her voters are non-core supporters of S.H.E. Typical artistes with such chart performance are people like F4 and their members and notably recently, Han Geng as well.

· When Crowd Lu’s sang about ‘Nice To Meet You’, the forumers don’t think so. Neither are the voters, and he gets his smallest ever, falling 16-17, beating the peak of ‘Yi Bai Zhong Sheng Huo’ which stalled at No.14.
· Elva Xiao enters with ‘Xiao Sha Xiao Jie’ at No.18. Coincidentally, the last ‘Xiao Sha’ song was 18 years ago, when Tian Jin (who?) took ‘Rang Wo Xiao Sha De Zui’ to No.3 in 1992. Of course, Elva changed the 潇 to 萧 as a word play.

Chart Trivia Week 39

Jay PWNS!

This week biggest news is really exciting. By staying at No.11 and sacrificing ‘Yan Hua Yi Leng’, ‘Shuo Le Zai Jian’ by Jay Zhou has thus dethroned S.H.E’s ‘Shero’ as Song of The Year. If he can hold till end of the year, this might be the very first time Jay will have a Song of The Year in his 10 years in the business.

The No.2s

While we congratulate LeeHom for his 2nd week stay at No.1 with ‘Ni Bu Zhi Dao De Shi’, it is interesting to note that a curse is slowly forming on Mainland Chinese males. Despite his immense popularity, Han Geng only ended up with 2 No.2s, thus tying Hins Zhang whose career high is also... 2 No.2s! There has been only one exception to that, as Leon Lai from Beijing has 7 No.1s. However, that was after he migrated to Hong Kong. Will there ever be a Mainland Chinese male to reach No.1?

· Rynn Lin’s ‘Lu Guo De Xin Niang’ bounced 16-10. Looks like the bride wasn’t really passing by. This is his 2nd Top 10 hit after ‘Xuan Lv’ reached No.4 in 2007.
· Dr Lala Xu’s ‘Ju Gao Zheng’ enters at No.19 is the 2nd medical diagnosis after Dr Tanya Chua’s ‘Ye Mang Zheng’ which reached No.18 in 2003. However, let’s hope Dr Lala Xu can deal with it as her ‘Ji Xian’ only peaked at No.8, a far cry from her No.1 debut with ‘Shi Luo Sha Zhou’.
· The Spring and Autumn Period is really a treasure trove of inspirations. After Pu Xueliang, Zeng Baoyi’s ‘Zi Yue’ (No.11, 2000), Kenji Wu’s ‘Lao Zi’ (No.10, 2007), Yoga Lin’s ‘Bo Le’ (No.1, 2008), we have another inspired Lee Hom with ‘Bo Ya Jue Xian’ at No.20.

it puzzles me as to why xiao sa xiao jie is doing so well currently whereas last yr shan shan re ren ai only got a mere 7pts. is the song realy nicer?

anyways thank god flh din champ and crowd lu exited the chart. hope shuo le zai jian can drop out nxt wk, the song is overly overrated.

Maybe cause shan shan re ren ai needed more time for the audience to accept. For me, being not an elva fan...I only love shan shan re ren ai after quite awhile...beginning i absolutely detest the song. As for 潇洒小姐 i begin to love it just after like 2 listens?

I think elva this album not bad got quite a few nice songs. Cuo de ren :3 and meng jing very nice!

Was glad FLH fell...FLH and han geng CMI la...go exit the chart haha.
