Re: Dear Diary
Everyone has their own likes and dislikes mah, I like most of the songs on your charts, not popular does not mean not nice.
Besides, I like the comments that you post along with your charts. Hope you'll make a comeback soon.

Re: Dear Diary
Thanks kenzhi, for posting your charts again
I like english oldies, right here waiting and nothing's gonna change my love for you are 2 of my favourite songs, and are "must sing" at karaoke
The others that you listed are not familiar, later I go and listen and tell you nice or not. Perhaps next time if you come across nice ones, post in the song/video of the day thread, then I won't miss any nice ones

Dear Diary,
What's more relaxing than looking out of my study room window watching the falling rain and listening to the oldies that kenzhi had recommended. All the songs are so nice!
What a good start of a brand new year. Thanks kenzhi

Re: Dear Diary
Dear diary,
today I encountered a middle-aged woman almost leaning her head on my shoulder on the mrt. Her head was inches away from my shoulder and made me so uncomfortable I had to give up my seat. Luckily the next stop was my station...though she made me feel uncomfortable for the past 3 stations...getting closer and closer to me every stop -.-.
I hope she wasn't dreaming of her bf/husband on the mrt.

LOL... maybe she was really dreaming of her sweetheart.
tell me honestly, if the woman is a sweet young thing, would you have given up your seat?

haha, I know.... she was sitting beside you and her head was almost leaning on you, made you so uncomfortable that you gave up your seat.
What I am asking is: if she's a sweet young thing, would you give up your seat or let her just lean on you

Re: Dear Diary
I guess as much your answer
I ever lent my shoulder to young school children ... can't bear to push them away or leave the seat.
I once lent my tummy and one of my hands to a primary school girl. There were no seats on the bus and I stood beside her, she was seated at the outer seat and dozing off, her head swaying here and there. Whenever the bus stopped or jerked, she almost fall and her head knocked against the front seat a few times .... poor girl. She continued dozing and then her head rested on my tummy... LOL... then when the bus jerked again, I held her head with my hand, she opened her eyes and said thank you jie jie ..... and tried to stay awake

Oh its good to talk to dear diary...
Dear diary,
today someone make me emo for awhile But oh wells... small matter. Just first time someone used that word to me twice infront of my face -.- Maybe I should review how I treat people instead of treating them the best of my ability. Some people just dun deserve my patience and tolerance. -.-

Re: Dear Diary
LOL .... if everything goes well, I hope to have a little inachi 2 years from now
The diary is a good platform for us to vent our anger and frustration. What was the word that made you emo? The F word? I hate it when people use it while talking to me. Two days ago I was queuing for wanton noodles at the Ghim Moh food center, the elderly man running the stall was in a bad mood cos a lot of customers ordered liao and went away to buy other things, the stall is "self-service", food ready liao but customers haven't come back, so he started scolding vulgarities in cantonese. Pity his daughter-in-law who was helping him. I was so disgusted that I went to other stalls.

Re: Dear Diary
Dear Diary,
Pardon me for ranting again….
Remember a long time ago I ranted about one of my neighbours dumping her unwanted things that she 不舍得丢 at the common area just outside my living room?
Neh….. these rubbish lor….
edited: pic removed
Besides these, she also treated the common area as a 私人花园 and placed the not so nice plants in the “garden”. 我忍了一年多才complain to the town council, they came and sticked a notice requesting the owner to remove, she ignored and after a month I complained again and the town council came to remove everything.
History is repeating ….. 2 plants left at the 私人花园 about 6 months back .. initially she still took care of her private garden ….it’s like 3 weeks liao that she abandoned the plants and they are dying..
edited: pic removed
It’s such an eyesore, should I call the town council to remove?
I know its bad of me to complain, but something must be done or the situation may get worse. You see.... one of the neighbours at the far end moved to a condo and rented their flat to some Chinese FT ... there are so many of these FTs lately.... just look at their bicycles ...
edited: pic removed
If I don't do something, I may see this during weekends
So... my dear diary, should I complain now or wait for the situation to get worse?

Re: Dear Diary
No wonder we are such good friends. Similar thoughts hahaha.
Most people wun change. Its their character. Thats why there are so many different people in this world.
My friend's friend once told me this: she make friends with people who can help her in any way.
I was really surprised when she said that. Maybe her definition of friends is different from mine...I thought most people think like me.
I told her I am not like that, when I friend someone I dun care how rich/how you look/how you can help me or how old are you. I genuinely want to be friend with you and not because of anything else.
Sorry abit sidetracked haha but this starts a discussion
