Since 1 year and half since his masterpiece album Capricorn, Taiwan King of Pop Jay Chou finally released his most anticipating album, his 10th album titled The Era (跨時代 – Kua Shi Dai). Jay Chou has been very busy in recent years as he appeared in his first idol drama “Pandamen“, and his film with Lin zhi Ling “Treasure Hunter“.

The album “The Era” will be released in May 14th, and will be followed with Jay Chou World tour which beginning in June. The Era contains 11 fresh songs, including Superman Can’t Fly (超人不會飛 – Chao Ren Bu Hui Fei), and a song with Chinese style title Fireworks Cools Easily (煙花易冷 – Yan Hua Yi Leng).

After one listen, songs that give me first good impressions are 说了再见 烟花易冷 嘻哈空姐 爱的飞行日记.

Am I the only one that feel that 超人不会飞 uses recycled music material from his older songs? Some parts of the beat sounds like 简单爱, the music after the first chorus sounds like 她的睫毛 and some parts of the rap sounds like 听妈妈的话. This is what I feel.. haha

Alot of his song's are recycle music material, the more I listened to it, only maybe a few songs he has added a different style to it...

But I'm still enjoying it. Haha
