1. Congrats to Yoga Lin as 'Xiang Zi You' becomes his 5th No.1 hit. With this, he reclaims as the artiste from a reality show with most No.1 hits. Jam Xiao is at No.2 with 4 but probably not for long...

2. Emil Chau continued his (or is it hers?) upward push. This week, by jumping 5-3, 'Hua Dan' touches the Top 3 for the 1st time in 10 years when 'You Mei You Yi Shou Ge Rang Ni Xiang Qi Wo' hit No.1 in 2001. This is not the first time Emil is singing for the opposite sex. More than 10 years ago, in 1988, he sung about 'Ming Tian Wo Yao Jia Gei Ni Le', a famous wedding tune.

3. Stef Sun is in her 2nd most impressive run on the chart ever by spawning 4 Top 10 hits. Her best run was surprisingly, hits from the rather poor selling 'Wan Mei De Yi Tian' album. That spawned 4 No.1 hits in the form of the title track, 'Yan Lei Cheng Shi', 'Yin Xing Ren' and 'Meng Bu Luo'. By the way, 'Dang Dong Ye Jian Nuan' is nearing to be her biggest ever. Will she be able to do that?

4. Miriam Yang has her biggest as 'Xing Le' lifted 19-15. Quite a surprise from someone of her status. Meanwhile, Cyndi Wang's come back hit, 'Nian Nian (X2)' does not look very impressive, moving only 18-16 on its 2nd week.

Chart Trivia Week 25

1. Stef is back with a vengeance! The latest scored a hat trick as 'Kong Kou Yan' jumped 5-1 to be her 26th No.1. She is only one No.1 away from tying Hebe as the artiste with most No.1s on the chart. Will there be a 5th entry from the album??

2. Yen J has improved in his position as 'Hao De Shi Qing' jumped 8-2 to become his biggest ever. Will No.1 be in sight? Also visiting the Top 3 for the 1st time since 'Shi Luo Sha Zhou' reached No.1 in 2009, Lala Xu has been teaming up with many male artiste lately. Besides Khalil on this single, she has also partnered Xie Hexian on another track.

3. The Chinese girls are coming back with a vengeance as well. Other than Jane Zhang with 'Gai Bian' at No.15, Chris Li scored the 1st second hit from her album as 'Dui Bu Qi, Zi Shi Hu Ran Hen Xiang Ni' entered at No.19. A bit of misfortuned though as it was panned for copying 'Sorry Sorry', the ubiquitous Korean dance track at the beginning.

4. Little man Shawn was the winner of Campus Idol 2 many years ago. This week, he bacame the 3rd contestant from the show to enter the Top 20 as 'He Shi Jian Yi Qi Qu Lv Xing' debuts at No.20. We can only wish him luck as his predecessors, Huang Zhiyang and Zeng Yonglin went no further then No.19.

Hi xH, it should be Week 26, and Khalil's song at No.19 is 'no mushroom friend'.

Anyway, trivia for this week:

1. Congrats to Khalil Fang as he scored a second No.1 from the album 15 with 'Zi Yi Wei'. This is his 3rd No.1 and it also helped Lala Xu to claim her 2nd No.1 as well. IMO, without Lala, the song would have lost half the magic. Khalil has also managed a 4th hit as 'Wu Gu Peng You' entered at No.19. This is a very unusual anti-drug abuse song that made the chart.

2. Aron Yan is making a nice arithmetic progression down the chart, as 'Zhi Kan Jian Ni' dropped 2-4-6-8. No.10 next week would be a picture perfect.

3. Jam Xiao has not only the highest entry this week with 'Kuang Xiang Qu' at No.12 this week, but this is also the highest opening for all One Million Stars contestants. A certain No.1 in few weeks time? Speaking of biggest, Shawn Zhuo has the biggest hit by the Campus Superstar contestants as he climbed 20-18 with 'He Shi Jian Yi Qi Qu Lv Xing'.

4. Finally, Stef Sun has her biggest hit ever as 'Dang Dong Ye Jian Nuan' with 233 points surpassed 'Wo Yao De Xing Fu'. This is a great achievement and best wedding present for her as she becomes Mrs Nadim.

That's all for this week.

Khalil Fong's wgpy kind of remind me of John Mayer's style of music. I am glad that he is venturing outside his soul, R&B and motown genre. However, his MV is so morbid. I guess it is effective in conveying the anti-drug message. Khalil Fong is one my favourite singers besides Amei and Tanya Chua.

wgpy MV has to be morbid. It was based on a real incident which a man killed his friends after taking the drugs.

Ya man.... please continue to vote for both songs! Make Hai you yan lei jiu hao top at least once, and sustain wzqad for a few more weeks please! 133pts doesn't do enough justice to the song i feel.

by the way, Xie Hexian's song also feature Lala Xu.

1. Congrats to Yen-J as 'Hao De Shi Qing' climbed 4-1 to be his first ever No.1. He thus becomes the first artiste with the surname Yan to top the chart. By the way, this No.1 almost never made it, as it was a last minute addition to the album.

2. While Devotion didn't quite made a splash on the TV ratings, its theme song, 'Jue Jiang' by Kit Chan enters at No.15. This is the second time the same title made it to the chart when Mayday took their own 'Jue Jiang' to No.1 8 years ago. This is also only Kit's 2nd TCS TV series song, after 'Yu Wang Jie Che' in 1997 when she took 'Kan Yue Liang' to No.6. She did another TV song to made the chart, but was with Channel U.

3. Another Western artiste is being featured on a mandarin pop song. After FIR managed to chart with 'Tian Tian Ye Ye' featuring Leann Rimes (No.7 in 2008), Wilber Pan collaborating with Akon at No.2 in 2009, this week, Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic is featured on Vanness Wu's hit, 'Is This All'.

4. Lala Xu really had the magical touch these days. After assisting Khalil Fang with 'Zi Yi Wei', her vocal talents were used for Xie Hexian's 'Liu Shu Xiao' with opens at No.20. IMO, without Lala, both songs would have lost their magical feel.

5. Finally, what a miserable comeback for Cyndi that is. After 4 weeks, her 'Nian Nian Nian Nian' dropped off the chart, peaking at merely No.16. This is her smallest first single since 'Ai De Tian Ling Ling' got to No.12 in 2008.

Poor Yoga.... Shawn, Vanness and Aaron should leave the chart..

I don't find Xiang Zi You a very good song so I don't mind it falling off the chart. Vanness and Aaron's song are still acceptable though I think Aaron's song has garnered a bit too much points. On the other hand, Shawn, Magic Power and Red Flower Band should leave the chart IMMEDIATELY. But at least this week's top 5 is decent. And hopefully Crowd Lu's new songs don't make it to the chart
