WHAT tonight tonight rebounded? am i the only one who thinks the song sounds horrible?

I think it sounds okay after hearing it so many times. But definitely doesnt deserve number 1.

Stars Combination

A lot has been said about the song at No.1, ‘Gan Dong Mei Yi Ke’. However, there are still some little trivia about the song:

· This is A Du’s 4th No.1 since 2003.
· Of course, it is also Tanya’s 7th, JJ’s 11th and Stefanie’s 23rd No.1. Not since A Better Tomorrow where so many No.1 artistes collaborated. And even so, not all the artiste in that collaboration hit No. 1.
· This is the song that took the shortest time to No.1 for all the artistes with 3 weeks.
· This is also the second time since A Du and JJ collaborated (‘Xiao Shuo’, No.6, 2004), as well as Tanya and Stef (‘Yuan Dian’, No.1, 2005).

Superman Doesn’t Fly, He Just Landed

This week is a historical week as a chart record has been equaled.

On 4 August 2002, F4 debuted at No.10 with ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’. Since then, many songs have debuted at No.11.

This week, Jay Zhou matches that record as ‘Chao Ren Bu Hui Fei’ enters at No.10. The next thing is, will Jay join F4 to do a 10-1 jump next week?

Superman or ‘Chao Ren’ is not a very popular topic. Only in 2005, Mayday took ‘Chao Ren’ to No.5.

Congrats to Claire Guo as she debuts at No.17 with ‘Encore Lala’. Claire has been very innovative with her songs. She has started from sappy ballads and now moves on to dance tracks.

Chart Trivia Week 19

The Real Empress Group

Although Selina and Hebe has tied Andy Lau when ‘Shero’ hit No.1, however, S.H.E. are still technically 1 No.1 behind Andy Lau.

With ‘Ai Shang Ni’ topping the chart, S.H.E has effectively tied Andy Lau with most No.1, (Ahem, technically, both are No.2 as Selina and Hebe has 25.) and thus fulfill their slogan as the Empress Group (Nv Wang Tian Tuan).

Pity though for Jay Zhou, as ‘Chao Ren Bu Hui Fei’ failed to jump 10-1, stopping at No.2. Thus, F4 still holds the record with ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ as the song that took the least week to No.1 during the Top 20 period with 2 weeks (10-1).

Conflicting Stars

She sang about not thinking, but her yearn for No.1 is so obvious. This week, we see Rene Liu jumped 11-5 with ‘Wo Bu Xiang Nian’, her biggest opening in the Top 10 ever.

Also conflicting is Jaycee Fang’s ‘Ruo Wu Qi Shi’. This week, with a jump of 14-7, it becomes his first ever Top 10. Thus, it greatly outperformed his first album. Talk about as if nothing...

She’s So Not Simple

By spending a 6th week after falling out of the Top 10, Tiger Huang’s ‘Mei Na Me Jian Dan’ has effectively tied Yoga Lin’s ‘Bo Le’ as the song that never say dies. If she can stay 1 more week, she will have the record all by herself. However, chances are not looking good...
