Re: Dear Diary
Shall we have some forum game to liven the forum up?

When you kiss someone for a minute, you both burn about 2.6 calories.
According to that math, it would take about an hour of kissing to burn 156 calories. A person who runs for 45 at a 10mph pace burns 538 calories. Which one would you rather do?
I would rather kiss a person for 6 hours instead =)

What games? I don't have time for mind boggling games like mafia for the time being.

Dear Diary,
The new manager drives me nuts. Gave me an outdated schedule to work on, wasted my efforts for the last 2 days.

Dear Diary,
It's me again
Was on my way to work yesterday morning, a man boarded the circle line train from the Labrador station and sat right opposite me. A bald-headed middle-aged man .... he wore a hairnet, the same kind of hairnet as this:
Can you imagine a botak with a hairnet, he looks so weird that I wish I had a camera phone with me.

I hope to inject some inspirational songs ( as and when the opportunity arises ) I have come across in the song/video thread to boost your morale for the upcoming tasks, trials and tribulations that you should come across in future.
A person's life is guided by 天时,地利,人和.
天 being the life factor (先天条件)where it shall lead the path to one's destiny. The understanding of oneself, our own strengths and weakness, how to make changes that would develop on and bring out our strengths and minimise the effect of our weaknesses.
地 being the environment factor (环境的配合)where one learns to improve their living (working/studying) environment. The understanding of our environment, with a knowledge of space and time management, the use of nature and principles to create a conducive place to live/work/study in.
人 being wisdom factor (后天的学习和努力)where one mannerism (actions and behaviours) in life shall come into view. Prioritising in one's needs and differentiating from one's wants. The level of unity and coordination when working and mixing with other people.

Re: Dear Diary
Dear Diary,
Some people just don't have manners. I received a sms on Tuesday evening from an unfamiliar number ... The message:
Hi Bryan, we are at the flat already. It’s #10-24 blk xx toa payoh lor 3. Be quick!!
I replied: Hi, you’ve sent the sms to the wrong number. I’m not Bryan.
Then no response ….. so rude, never even bothered to reply with a thank you note for alerting wrong number. I saved the number with the name "no manners idiot".
Some days later, the no manners fella called my mobile, a female's voice
Me: Hello
She: Bryan, dinner at 7 tonight on?
Me with an irritated tone: WRONG NUMBER!!!
Angry already, I sound like a guy meh, what the hell!
Next time if she calls for Bryan again, I will ask her why is she calling my boy friend

Re: Dear Diary
Dear Diary,
This morning I met the FT neighbours at the void deck. They were keeping watch on their 10 year old son while he was roller skating at the car park with a brown rabbit running closely behind. To my horror, there was a string tied to the rabbit’s neck and the other end of the string was tied to the skateboard. Each time the boy went too fast and the rabbit couldn’t catch up, the boy would just go zooming with the rabbit rolling after him. Then he would slow down for the rabbit to get up and then went zooming again ... and the rabbit rolling after him again. The parents saw it, but just turned a blind eye. Why are there such heartless people?
My mum said this is not the first time. It makes me wonder whether they keep the rabbit as a pet, or for their son’s pleasure while roller skating.

Re: Dear Diary
@ Dearie Inachi,
"there was a string tied to the rabbit’s neck and the other end of the string was tied to the skateboard" .. Just this, should refer to SPCA (Tel: 6287 5355) already. If you take picture/video and put on Stomp & at the same time send it to the relevant authorities, it would create another social out-roar on mainlanders in Singapore. They have been making a few headline news for wrong reasons already.
(Not all) But some of the mainlanders = 反客为主. Imposing their own "cultures" & "behaviours" on the local community and stepping way out of line and control.
I mean as "guests" to a foreign country, at least have the basic courtesy and make efforts to integrate socially & culturally with your "hosts".

Dearie, I never expected to see such an inhumane act, so flabbergasted.
養兒不教,父母之过!
My mum and I don't have a camera phone
I've saved the SPCA number, thanks.
